Maybe they're too lazy to translate the parking information into 27 different languages?

Theoretical question; if a person dies as a direct result of not enough doctors because of a strike, where does the responsibility lay?

Did anyone go to the previous one? What was it like?
I chose not to go anywhere near it, just in case 🤮

Cyborg 1989 - https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0097138/
It falls into the category of "so bad it's actually good".
The last 10 minutes I've been watching and nobody has said any dialogue, they've just run around the screen screaming... it's hilariously bad.
2/10 if you're sober
10/10 if you're drunk

Why is the Guardian not making a big deal of Women only clubs?
Because then it would be sexist, but not before 😉
But also because men couldn't care less and are happy to get rid of their women for a few hours peace 😂

I would never loan money or agree to be a guarantor for anyone, friend or family.
Only lend what you can afford to lose, because there's never any guarantee you'll get it back.

As advertised a appropriate TravelMaster single/return/season ticket/pass/card/e-ticket is/will be available on Tram, Bus, Machine, App etc
Ah so it's just the Stagecoaach thing that's changing... well that makes sense now!
Thanks for clearing it up 😎👍 -
Likewise I find it to be very quick to log in and use.
Occasionally I'll have to verify that it's me with a text message code, but the safety net that you get if anything goes wrong with the purchase is totally worth the extra few seconds.

As Stagecoach will no longer be operating the tram network, there will be some changes to ticketing and Stagecoach bus and tram tickets will not be valid for tram travel after Thursday 21 March. Tram-only products can be purchased on the Stagecoach website and Stagecoach App until 21 March and will be accepted on the tram until they expire.
So they're making it more expensive to use for certain people?
Say for example, someone doesn't live near a tram stop but works near a tram stop, which is quicker and more convenient than staying on a bus and waiting for it to do the rounds... their routine would have been to get a Stagecoach bus into town, then transfer to the tram and go to work, on one ticket.
After that date they'd have to either buy two tickets or just lump it and stick with buses and adjust their morning routine.
I can fully get the general reasoning for taking certain services back into public ownership, but surely not if they're going to make it more of a hassle to use?

I thought it might be something Israeli as the only things I could find online about recent protests in Waitrose were about them not wanting people to purchase dates grown in Israel.
In the grand scheme of things it's a pretty pointless thing to protest about 🙄

If it's people shouting at strangers and waving flags, I'm going with either vegans or trans protestors

so why they didn't...
But that would mean actually doing the job they get paid for? Are you mad? 🤣
Couple of days ago I watched an off road bike, no plates on it, spewing smoke, two riders, no helmets just hoodies pulled tight ride past a junction right in front of a police car, up onto the pavement and across the grass. The police car turned the opposite direction.... zero F's given.
This country is broken.

Have a look at Waverley, my son lives there and it's a lovely new estate, with a Morrisons and Boundary Mills within walking distance. Also within walking distance of Handsworth where there is a bus every 10 minutes or so into Sheffield town centre.
Isn't that the area that floods every time there's a light drizzle?

If you mean in the old Farm Foods place no it hasn’t.
Is it definitely becoming a Poundland? Doesn't seem like a big enough space for them, and there's one not too far away in Heeley retail park.

Not a great selection of UK content to be found in that link @aardvark6535 or am I missing a trick?

I'm sure I've done one since, but I can't recall what it was, so I'll do the last one I can actually remember 🤦♂️
When we had that bit of snow in early Feb we were walking round to the MILs to walk her dog, obviously snow all over the roads, spotted one younger female driver struggling, in front of her car with a mini folding shovel trying to scrape to tarmac to get moving.
We wandered over and gave her car a push, then the Virgin media van behind her.
Carried on trekking round to MILs, part way down her road and the same lady in the car had got stuck again... helped her out again and we offered her the MILs driveway to store her car off road overnight till the snow cleared.
She popped round the morning after, collected her car and left a box of chocolates for us 😇

Tram-Train currently runs on a single train line past the back of Magna.
Ah, I've only used it once when it first opened, so I had no idea 👍

£6.6m for two platforms and a bridge?
Do the tram lines already run there or are they having to install a new line? This could be why it's so expensive? 🤷♂️

In these modern times, what difference should someones choice of religion make in an asylum claim?
Unless the government secretly wants to keep out all the "alternative" faiths?

I have several Tapo P110M plugs at home, reasonable price, decent app and I've never had any hassle with them 👍

As he began his Budget speech on Wednesday, Jeremy Hunt vowed that past sacrifices made by those who lost their lives – no matter their faith, colour or class – will not be forgotten.
The bold.
Surely he missed his own point? It doesn't matter their choice of faith or the colour of their skin, what matters is that they fought and died for their country?
Or am I missing something obvious?

Like that's ever going to happen, as long as it keeps raking in the cash, they must think we're all gullible

It's always been 10 years away, 20 years away.
The theory behind it is sound, it's putting it into practice that is insanely difficult, because basically they're trying to recreate a star on earth in a controlled manner... however you only need to look at our own star to realise that stars do not behave, they have sun spots and huge solar flares... it's for these reasons that I personally don't think it'll ever come to fruition because it's simply too hard to control.
I think the future of energy will be diversity, don't just focus on building 50GW of wind turbines, because the wind doesn't always blow.
Add in solar, battery storage, hydro, tidal energy, nuclear... as the saying goes; don't put all your eggs in one basket.

A nosey online suggests an acceptable price for them would be £100-£125 👍

Try and travel up or down Richards Road on a United match day, absolute pandemonium... cars park on both sides of the road, on corners... I feel sorry for the bus drivers, it must be a test of nerves trying not to rip off mirrors.
