  1. An immersion heater should be connected into a FCU not a plug head.. this is very poor practise and to get a 2.5 mm heat resistant flex into a plug head is a struggle on its own.
  2. Will have a look.. Seems strange it's only 1 socket though
  3. This could well be a fault, contact me if you want me to come and look at it for you Ryan
  4. Contact me on 07854311388 Ryan (Electrician 17th Ed, 2391 )
  5. Make me laugh people like @duncx How would you know if you can fit a socket in a bathroom, I'm a qualified electrician & since 2008 you can install a socket in a bathroom providing it has rcd protection & is at a distance of 3m horizontally from the boundary of zone 1. Your best bet is to check if there is any power outlets in you bathroom and get a dimplex mini storage heater which produce heat when required via a pull cord. Regards
  6. How is it illegal to fit a socket in a bathroom?
  7. Doesn't the landlord have a legal obligation to provide you with a heater? If you hav a power supply in your bathroom I.e a switch fused spur you could have a small dimpled storage heater which you could turn on and off with a pull cord Thanks
  8. I can come and have a look at the best possible solution and install some sockets for you at a reasonable cost Ryan 07854311388
