Hi Ricky Swim Sheffield can offer lessons at pools across the City. We have lessons suitable for 2year olds at Heeley swimming pool (0114 2500443), Graves Tennis & Leisure Centre (0114 2839900) & Concord Sports Centre (0114 2570053). If you give any of these centres a call they will be happy to talk you through the different times and options that they have available, and we hope to see you and your little boy swimming with us soon!

Hi One to One lessons are available at all Swim Sheffield Venues (Ponds Forge, Concord Sports Centre, Hillsborough Leisure Centre, Stocksbridge Leisure Centre, Graves Tennis & Leisure Centre, Springs Leisure Centre, Heeley Swimming Pool, Westfield Sports Centre). Whereever you live in the City we'll have a centre near you which will offer a full range of lessons from beginners to advanced.

Concord Sports Centre's splish splash session takes place in the teaching pool and is a great session for youngsters. There is also a session called Ducklings where floats and toys are put into the water for the babies/toddlers to play with along with an instructer to give guidance and develop the child's water confidence.

Hillsborough Leisure Centre is ideal for young children as the leisure pools design as a Beach allows for kids to just walk in and paddle in the water. There is also a baby pool with bubbles and a small slide for when they get a little bit older. Hillsborough Leisure Centre also offers baby splash which is a class designed for parent and baby allowing them to become more confident in the water and learn through song and play. This class also develops the child ready for main stream swimming lessons when they are older. Swim Sheffield also offers parent and baby classes as our other venues. Swim Sheffield offers a range of swimming lessons from 6 month year olds to adults. Hillsborough Leisure Centre offers a great swimming lesson programme and currently is taking on children for stage 1 lessons which it sounds like your child needs. Hillsborough run's to the ASA National Swimming Lesson Scheme and ensures that your child becomes confident in the water as well as developing skills at the child's pace so that they do not feel over whelmed.
