  1. Know What You Mean. The Women On The Checkouts Can Take An Age The Check,Then Re-Check The Vast Sums Of Money That Can Be Spent On Fags. Doesn't Take Long To Mount I Can Tell You.
  2. Yep-That'll Be The One. My Mate Works At A Plumber's Merchants-Even He Admitted They Could Never Match The Price I Paid.I Was A Little Wary At First (With It Being So Cheap) But They Really Are The Mutts Nuts. Either Way,With Costco's Returns Policy,You Really Don't Have Anything To Worry About. Honestly,They Really Are Good-Even My Sister Went To Get One After She'd Seen It!
  3. Just Want To Add To This Thread A Recommendation. I Bought A Shower From Costco. It's The Works. Complete With Overhead Shower,Body Jets And Hand Shower,It's A Showering Experience To Behold. It Runs Off The Combi Boiler,So There's No In-Unit Heater-It Just Gets Plumbed Into Your Bath Taps. What's More It Cost Just Over £100,Almost 2 And A Half Times Cheaper That Any Equivalent Shower I've Seen In B&Q,Wickes,Etc. Anyone Who's Looking For A New Shower Should Get One-Best £100 I've Spent In A Long Time.
  4. I Left In '86. I Remember Mr. Byers (Biology) Mr. Routledge (Maths,I Think & Form Tutor) Ms.Taylor (Geography) Mr. Johnson (French & Form Tutor) Mr. Wright And His Audi Mr. Barton (History) Top Teacher Mr. Lever (Games) Mr.Lloyd (Year Tutor) They're A Few That Spring To Mind Anyway.
  5. No Doubt Me & Holmsey'll Be Hangin' Around The Dove & Rainbow Saturday Night If You Wanna Pop In For A Chat.
  6. Done The Walkley Pub Crawl On Christmas Eve For About The Last 18 Years. Always A Good Turn Out From The "Old Crowd".
  7. Aye,That's Me,Jim. "Mollusc"-That's A Name We Don't Hear Much These Days. More's The Pity.
  8. Aaarrrrgggghhhh.Don't Call It "Fussball"-It's "Table Football" For God's Sake.Hate It When People Call It That-Bloody Yanks. Sometimes See Gary.I Think He's Still With Rachel,If That's Her Name. They've Been Together For Donkey's Years Now.Karen,I See At Least Every Christmas.
  9. Rather A Sweeping Statement. But Won't They Get Cold On The Way Home?
  10. My Local Chip Shop (Carnaby Road) Has Recently Changed Hands And They're As Good As I've Had In A Long Time. Great To Have Decent Chips On Your Doorstep Again.
  11. Yep,Parfetts Is A True Trade Place. But Having A Legitamate Business I've Never Had To Find Out Out Easy/Hard It Is To Get In Without An Account Number. Costco's Prices Are Just A Shade Under Parfetts,But They Do Have Good Offers On Every Week.
  12. You could tell it was a new store with new staff, most of them seemed very eager and friendly with only one person being misserable at the till and not smiling. Wonder how long that will last Spot On With That One,Mate. Are You A Member Of Parfetts? They Had The Dog Food You Mentioned On Offer The Other Day.It Was A BOGOF Offer On 6x2.5KG Bags So It Worked Out At 30KG For About £9.These Days With All The Warehouses To Go To,It's Amazing What Offers They Put On-You've Just Gotta Look Out For 'Em.
  13. The Prices Are The Same For Everyone. However,Being A "Trade" Member Allows You To Go In A Couple Of Hours Earlier On A Week Day. I'll Be Able To Buy My Canoe Before Everyone Else Turns Up.
  14. ...........And Another Thing-That Photo Machine That They Use To Put Your Photo On Your Card Stretches Your Head Sideways.I Look A Reight Potatohead On My Card Now.
  15. I Think JTF Issue Cards When You Go To Collect Them In Person.I Had One Done For My Sister When I Joined,And They Told Me They'd Give It To Her When She Came To Collect It. Regarding Pet Food Though,(Depending On What You Feed Them),I Find It Cheaper At Morrisons-But Then Again,I Only Buy The "My Dog" Stuff. It's Only About 69p For A 1.2Kg Tin And The Dog Seems To Like It.
  16. Would Imagine It Will Be A Shade Cheaper Than Parfetts For Pet Foods,But Not Much Cheaper. Have You Tried JTF For Garden Stuff? I Went A Few Weeks Back & They Were Crammed Full With Stuff. They Were Selling Half Oak Barrels For £7.99+ VAT Compared To £15 In Wilkinsons.
  17. Costco Seem To Have A Target Market Of Businesses And The "Professional" Classes.Hence The Items They Stock.Stuff That Only People With A Lot Of Disposable Income Would Buy. Canoes,Indeed.
  18. Straight Up,Mate. They DO Sell Canoes.Along With £700+ Chandaliers And Inflatable Football Pitches! :loopy:
  19. I Popped Along On Sunday Afternoon And Had Mixed Feelings About It. Prices On The Things I Sell In My Shop (Cigs,Crisps,Chocolate,Soft Drinks,Etc) Were Slightly Lower That Other Warehouses. However,There Was Less Of A Selection To Choose From. As,For Some Of The Other Things On Sale-They Were A Bit Too Specialised.I Mean,How Many Canoes Do They Think They're Gonna Sell? The Place Seemed Very Spacious,Which Can Be Good,But I Just Got The Feeling That The Place Wasn't The Finished Article Just Yet.Maybe In A Few Months,They'll Have A Better Idea As To What Sells In This Area And Adapt Accordingly.
  20. How About A Photo Of Dolby Without That Dodgy 'Tache?
