2 years ago when me n my hubby split he gave me £60 a month and that was enough to keep my daughter going on what she basically needs, and I didnt work, we were seperated at the time. we are now back together and he works away also, 4 days on 4 days off, we share finances. £200 - £300 is alot of money for 1 child, even if you were split you would not get half that amount from csa

when my son started nursery ( it was attached to a school ) he was 3 and half trained, hed have accidents, they would take him but wouldnt change him if he soiled, theyd ring me. however my daughter was trained but had accidents and aslong as they had spares ( id sent in ) that was fine, best thing is to speak to the teacher / leader . good luck
