  1. Could I turn upto this without doing a single bit of parkour before? Or is it where poeple who can already do it meet up? I don't just mean I'm no good at it or only done a lil bit, im talking about completely fresh! lol ta
  2. Anyone train at the capoeira classes at Sheff uni? What are they like, and any idea when they start up again? I'm assuming they're not just for students at the uni....? Thanks
  3. Aktars in Rotherham town centre also do wing chun
  4. Forgot to add, I'm hoping to go down the Source gym sometime next week or week after (just letting a kneee injury rest, which I did at Liquid! ) purely for the reason of starting the JKD there. I've got a couple of mates who do just pure fitness there, but I'll probably just be doing lessons. Hope to see some of ya there!
  5. I know not strictly kickboxing but I trained Muay Thai (a relaxed 'syllabus' though) with Phil Glover in Maltby, and was really impressed! I only stopped due to financial reasons at the time. Hes an extremely talented wee man (not the tallest of guys ) and as I said his classes were extremely welcoming to beginners and also had some proper hard blokes there. (one was the holder of 2 amateur british belts) then theres the wicker camp, which I made a few friends there after meeting them at interclubs etc. Much more traditional and strict but I wont offer any serious critique as I havn't personally trained there. As for one teaching the kickboxing syllabus you've already learned, can't help ya there I'm afraid! hth
  6. Hi, my first post btw! I'm looking for somewhere to start trying to learn some decent dancing, basically I'm fed up of been completely cack on the 'floor in the liquid club (Rotherham) every time I go in lol I've got some martial arts abckground (TKD (7 mnths) Muay Thai (Phil Glover, Maltby 5 months) multi-martial arts (TRC college 3 months) ) and I figured this should help with things like flexibility and stuff but I'm not the strongest of guys, and also as I said I'm completely hopeless (at the minute) so I was looking for a total beginner class where its fairly comfortable. I know from bad experiences trying to find martial arts classes that sometimes an environment can be unnecesarilly(sp?) intimidating to beginners so If anyone has also been to/goes to the classes then mini-review would be cool! Thanks guys
