I lived in sheffield 1998-1999. Made some brilliant friends. Am looking to get back in touch with some of them. People used to call me Bea, I went to sheffield hallam, studied foundation engineering, and I worked in a bar on the high street.......................cavells...................... The one I would most like to see is Lucy. She had two children a boy and a girl. tall dark hair, vegitairian. went to hallam as well, spoke fluent french and once gave herself a realy bad hair cut. if you recognise yourself message me or if you think you recognise me then message me anyway.

i was very depressed and this is what he said....... "I'll walk you up to the top of the ncp car park and push you but trust me when I say in a cuple of months no-one will remember who the f**k you were" Not recomended for treatment of depression P.S I didn't do it dean

As a bar worker formerly of sheffield and know carrying on the good work back in scotland I can tell you that the later opening hours will probably make little or know diffrence. Thoes who go out at the weekend (and during the week) to get drunk and have a punch will continue to do so no matter how long you keep the bar's, pub's and clubs open for but thoes of us in the greater majority who enjoy a good drink and a good time will be able to take advantage of a longer evening and go home and not to the nearest police station or emergency room. I have one thing to say, it is better to burn up than to fade away:loopy:

She attended sheffield hallam university in 1999,An engineering class. She did stay on though a computing course I think. She can speek fluent French and I would love to speek to her again. does anyone remember the pick up and play nights:clap: at cavell's, 1999, they were loud, they were fun. Didn't last long but there were one or two good bands.

I remember millionairs,cavells(worked there for a bit),josephines(they used to have a free buffet,can't remeber what night though)

lived in sheffield a few years ago and lost all my photos, would love to get replacements if you have any or know where to get them please let me know. not far from city centre and worked on the high street in one of the many bars. have many, many fond memories
