Small/med family dog wanted

As title says I'm loOk img for a new family member in a dog ideally a child and cat friendly one.. We have lots of space for him/her and love walks out into the country side

any reason you are asking on SF rather than Dogs Trust / RSPCA? (unless of course you are). Locally there is Rain rescue and few other little ones too.

Another good place to look are the breed specific rehoming charites, we got our German Shepherd that way (and got a lot more history than from the RSPCA etc dogs we looked at) - if you know what you want that can be a good way to go.

If you like greyhounds (fun and gentle dogs) then the racing rehomes charity nr Halifax has loads on offer too
