The A57 was planned as the Liverpool to Skegness trunk road but never got to Skegness and finished in the center of Lincoln.  Liverpool and Skeggness:gag:, probably two places I have the least interest in visiting. But I can at least see why residents of both towns would want a road to get them out quickly. Just a shame it had to pass through Sheffield.
