Hi all,

We are currently organising another social event: S(F)unday 3rd of August

We don't have much information just yet but it will cover most of the day/evening and will consist of some sport-ish activities and possibly a BBQ afterwards.

If possible could you let us know if you would like to come so we have an idea about numbers.

Cheers

Jaap

Top day yesterday guys!

Was absolutley knackered when I went to bed last night, woke up at 9.25 this morning- should of been sat in work at 8.45!

Try explaining that one! "Well I was swinging around the trees in Sherwood Forest...."

Nice one, I don't think the tramp has any money so you will have to introduce him to some female friends in person.:hihi:

No German friend, no entry. You can get in with an Austrian or a Dane but you won't be allowed to consume any of the communal alcohol or food.

My german friend is already coming and bringing a german friend, so i think they cancel each other out, and I only have one german friend so my ability to bring a german friend is broken, unless:

Does a Bratwurst or Frankfurter count as a german friend?
They are sausages but sausages are our friends too, right?!?! :loopy:

I come to your funday :D

So, just to be correct: a Frankfurter is ALWAYS a Bratwurst, BUT a Bratwurst does not need to be a Frankfurter! And of course, Food is our friend!! :)

is that the same as:

"a german is ALWAYS pedantic, BUT you do not need to be german to be pedantic" ??????

:P ;) :P ;) :P ;) :P :D

as its at school do we have to wear school uniform? (im sure if the ladies want to dress like this anyway . . . . ;) ) and is their an option of school dinner rather than packed lunch? not had lumpy custard, cold vegatables and horrible mash in years. :P

if everybody is a good boy and girl I might make us all a nice cake

I'll come along with my liitle ones Ruby and Noah if that OK. I know some people are scared of children but they are fully immunised and will only attack if cornered ...or bored.

Hi all,

Me and Cathy were wondering if there's any chance of getting a lift to the school off someone? Catching buses could be complicated being a Sunday...

We live in Nether Edge/Sharrow. Happy to pay for petrol.

Is there a way to get to the school via a combination of buses (would getting to meadowhall and walking from there be a better idea?) as i would like to join in on the fun!

Julian

some people apparently need some directions, i will direct from Northern General Hospital because I think most people will be coming from that direction

go north up the hill past Northern General and keep going until you get to some lights with a Netto at them, turn right at these lights, turn left at the lights just after the primary school on the left then turn into the school gates 100 yards on the left

this is the link to the school on Google Maps, the entrance you need to go through is to the right of the marker for the school - not really evident on the map, but there is an entrance from Bellhouse Road, any issues you can ring me on 07825703147. Julian, it takes about 40 minutes to walk from Meadowhall, i think the bus you need is 76 but don't take my word for it because I never use them
