New home needs kitten...help!

Recommended Posts

:help: ..ME! :help: ...ME! :help: ...ME!

We moved in last week to our first home, and it wouldn't be a home without a kitten! Tried the papers, tried the "for sale" section here, but nothing:(

Anyone out there have a little kitten (10 weeks or under) that they would love to see go to a loving home?

Pls PM me with the details (age, colour, sex) and we'll get straight in touch. We've not set the PC up yet at the new house, so I'll be checking this message again around 3pm today. If you've have a kitten and have left me some details please wait until then, and thanks for the help guys.

And in the spirit of this not just been a 'search post'....how many others of you were desperate to bring some life into their new home - were you as keen as us to get a feline guest, or perhaps a pup? Or even a fish tank when you moved in to your first home?

we were looking for kittens, unfortunatly were waiting a few months now. The cat shelter have some kittens, though theyre not ready for adoption yet. theyre open today and tomorrow (bank holiday) and every other day 1:30 til 3:30 also, a lady has some gorgeous kittens available, pm me and il give you her email adress, not sure how many she has left but they really are beautiful, she only wants £25 however theyre not vaccinated (cant do that until 12 weeks)

also before you get one, make sure your aware of vets charges, its £66 for their full vaccination and £51 to be spayed which isnt done til theyre around 5-6months. also, I agree this thread would be better in the pet section :)

hope you find the kitten your after :)

Thanks everyone for your help and suggestions.

I wasn't aware there was a pet section...thanks Gareth.

And thanks keely for the advice about when they need vaccinating. We've got a cat book with loads in, but not read everything yet! ...so that's really useful to know.

Oh, and bye the way...we got a little female kitten yesterday - she's gorgeous! Black with ever so slight chocolate strips. Had to go to Doncaster, but well worth it. We thought we were going to get a "Felix" look-a-like, but when we got there felix seemed a bit shy, so we went for the one with character and loads of life - a "curtain crawler" the lady described him as.

Thanks again everyone.

Nick
