BoroughGal
Does anyone else drive past Carlisle Street - the bit between the roundabout where XS is and the middle of Spital Hill? More often than not, there's a really strong smell of onions?? Anyone noticed it and can tell me what it is please? Is it, indeed, an onion factory? No idea where it is though, maybe bottom of Spital Hill? Happy smelling

BasilRathbon
All these years I thought onions grew in the wild and now we've found out they're actually made in a factory! Who says the forum isn't educational?
kate55
Yes I drive past there on my way home from work and the smell sometimes makes me gip. I think it smells worse in the summer.
