The all things tattoo megathread

Recommended Posts

Anything CAN in theory be covered. The point is whether or not it looks any good when it's done.

I've seen a "cover up" that you've done. You told the guy you could put a nice snake over his old tattoo. You actually coloured his old tattoo in solid black and put the snake next to it. He's VERY disappointed with it.

i dont know who you are.my 2 studios are always busy.so cut the crap and stop slagging people off.come see me face to face tina tina perfect.or back off.ok .

Surely the tattooist explained what he was going to do before he started, and even if he didn't I'd have said something as soon as I didn't like the look of what he was doing, I wouldn't let him finish it then complain.
r8 buddy dont know who this tina tina is.keeps slaging me to bits.buddy.she must work at so secret studio.shes just full of crap.to be honest.

a nother point tattooed people for 14 years around the world.never been into the solid black thing for starters.dont even like black lined tribal.so get it right before you slag people off with you mega professional.advice.dont like you who ever you are ..come see me face to face lab13.lets see who you really are.but then you use a false name and hide on some website.your beging to **** me off big time with your false finger pointing views.if some ones not happy i expect them to tell us them selfs.not go to big mouth radio tina tina so you can slag people off on this site.childish or sad one of the two .

In the days when a lot of blokes were getting the dagger with snake, or eagle on the chest type tattoos, a mate of mine got an ironing board tattooed onto his backside.

Absolute class:hihi:

Time to ask you lot for a bit of inspiration....

Thinking of getting my 2nd tat, this time on top of a foot (I know - painful!). Need some inspiration for a design.

This will be a small one to signify the second in a series achievements, of which there may be up to 5 eventually. So I want something simple that could be added to later (kinda like the painted 'kills' some WW1 pilots put on their planes).

I had thought of 2 blocks/stripes, but then figured if I got a third one I'd look like an advert for addidas footwear! :(

Stars? Too common ;) I want something at least a bit original.

what about fantasy insects.

love portraits.for sure.the moths easy any studio should do it around 20 to 30 quid.

http://www.lab13studios.co.uk. you need a good clear face picture ,we then need, to blow it up to the size of say a 20 packet of fags size.copy it in black and white to get the shadows and face features, a portrait takes me about 1 hour.
