Public enemy at the plug

I went last night and thought they were awesome, apart from flavor flavs pretty ropey solo set.

Thought Broke N English were pretty top notch too.

Only dissapointment was the sound, which was abysmal. Really, really loud (my ears still ringing now!) - but really muddy and distorted - could not hear Chucks voice too well and it was hard to distinguish between tracks sometimes.

However, 2+hours of wicked entertainment and positive vibes - boy, do they still pump it up!

20 odd years and more relevant than a lot of newer stuff.

FIGHT THE POWER!!

bad bad bad! Well impressed with them right couldn't be arsed to go out either but they absolutley smashed it. Apart from Flava's solo spot and the sound weren't too tough either. Longest 'yeah boyyyyyyyyy' i have ever heard as well.

The sound was great although VERY loud. I think Public Enemy might have gone a bit deaf over the years because they certainly cranked it up to the max.

Fantastic show - I even got a photo with Flava wearing his mahoosive clock!
