Motorsport in Norfolk park

I remember the hillclimb well as I entered my Ford Escort Mexico Mark 1.

 

Sheffield and Hallamshire Motor Club organised the event and as a member I competed in my rally car complete with spotlights. Although not competive for hillclimbs I still enterd to add a bit of variety. The view in the club was to promote motor sport. Certainly the hillclimb was in 1975 or before. Cannot remember what position that I finished in but it was good fun to thrash through a park legally.

 

I also competed in a driving test in a Ford Cortina in Hillsborough Park in the sixties.
