viking   10 #13 Posted June 28, 2006 It doesn't matter if you only watch Sky, ITV, DVDs or pay per view porn. If you have a television or a TV tuner card you have to have a licence. Took a while H.O.D
 Share this content via...
muddycoffee   10 #14 Posted June 28, 2006 If the didn't collect all this license money how could they afford to pay that cretin chris evans £600,000 a year for his radio 2 slot.  If that hasn't annoyed you enough,  they are also paying Jonathan Ross over 6 million because he does more than one show, or some similar excuse, so he can give the leader of the Opposition David Cameron a tirade of four letter words before asking him if he ever masturbated while thinking of Margaret thatcher when he was a teenager.  I'm sure you would agree that is a wholly honerable and excellent use of the license payers hard earned money..  I don't think.. H.O.D. Â Â 10 #16 Posted June 28, 2006 If the 3 sharing have a license each for their own tv in their own rooms, do I still need to buy a license for the tv they all can watch in the living room as well? ( I provided this tv) Â If you (the landlord) already have a TV licence, you don't need an extra one for a communal set in the living room. basshedz2 Â Â 10 #17 Posted June 28, 2006 If the tenants have a shared contract then the house only needs one tv license. If they are on seperate contracts then each tenant should have a license (if they have a tv). Â We got told by a license inspector that if a place has one license they wont check. YMMV.
