pattricia   578 #1 Posted June 4, 2020 There have been two burglaries in Stannington this week. One on Wood Lane and the other on Roscoe Drive. Both were in the morning so the householders must have been out, as one was at 8:40 am. One burglary consisted of two men in orange workman type jackets posing as workmen. I think some of the men have been captured on cctv but just a warning to people in this area. As we’ve had Virgin Media working in Stannington for some months lately , who were also wearing orange jackets, people may not be on their guard.
