samssong
I have an old Del 505 lap top that I have fired up today and found it in good working order if a little slow. It is on Windows XP and I am wondering if it can be upgraded to Windows 7 so as to bring it up to speck a little. Any thoughts please.
woah
Looking at the standard specifications it should run Windows 7, or even Windows 10 but it's going to be pretty slow owing to the CPU and onboard graphics. Drivers might not be available but Windows usually has drivers for older hardware built in.
samssong
It will run Windows 7 without any issues, you might want to upgrade memory module (RAM) if it's less than 1GB? other than that, everything will be fine. Love2print
You can do it yourself as long as you buy the correct type of RAM, its very easy on a laptop as there should be a small removable panel on the base which needs unscrewing. I'd image MoZaLaN could fit it too for a fee. Wedding Invitations My Keepmoat Homes Review Sheffield Graphic Design Student
