Runningman Posted July 30, 2015 Share Posted July 30, 2015 Had an enjoyable walk Wednesday evening on the Edge from the Hookscar end and then dropped down at the plantation to the road. Walked back up the road past Outseats Farm and back to the car. Why I wondered are there areas on the bank leading down from the edge, bracken etc that look very much dead ?? Can't have been sprayed surely, there are sheep on there. Why, when some areas of bracken look quite healthy,do some areas look as they do ? I don't know if they've got right up to the Edge, but they've been spraying a big area quite close to it. I don't know if they're spraying the bracken too, I've only seen the results on the thistles.
