Time on RECEIVED texts

Imagine you turn your mobile on when you get up, and a text comes through. On my phone, the time that the text was received is always show as the time I turn the phone on. Previously, regardless of when I turned the phone on, the “time received” was always the time that the text was received by the network (as opposed to the time received by my phone). It used to give you an indication of the sort of time the text was actually sent (I know a text can be held up after being sent).

I’ve been with the same network (Orange) for about 14 years, but have a different phone. I cannot workout if the difference is due to my phone or a change with something by the network.

What do others find in respect of “time received“. display?
