Steak Greek Restaurant

Does anyone remember the small Greek owned steak restaurant that was situated on Ecclesall Road in the early 70s on the left going up and opposite the Nursery Tavern. It was run by a very amiable Greek chap and his lovely wife. They did a sirloin steak to die for.I believe that they moved after falling foul of the local licensing laws

I recall that they moved to a new venue in the city centre and opened up as the Venus Steak house. I would love to hear what became of them if any one remembers and also if anyone recalls them as actually being on Ecclesall Road

The Venus Steak House is in Dinnington now. I believe it's run by the same family that had the Coach House in the Wicker.

the Venus steak bar was on Pinstone St----dont know if this is the one you know of but they did own the one mention in the wicker----
