Sheffield Kebab House - Wellington Street

Anyone know what's happened to this place as it was shut the last couple of nights out when I've been passed. Gutted if its closed as been eating there for more years then I care to remember.

It has indeed closed down, the owner decided to pack it in and retire as business isn't as good as it used to be - the shop used to be surrounded by late night venues and also benefitted from passing trade as people walked down to the main road to find a taxi.

 

Now the likes of Casbah, Embrace and Breeze are gone and taxis are plentiful...There are also a lot more fast food joints.

Owner of the Brewhouse bar over the road warned me it was due to close within a week or so, as a result I went one last time for an egg burger....

I think that Embrace closing was probably the final nail in the coffin!
