DLA for a child with ADHD

My son has just been diagnosed with ADHD and I have been told I should be claiming DLA for him. I've got the form but have no idea what to put, does anyone know any places other than Citizens advice bureau I can get to help me?

Excellent news. I applied for DLA even before my daughter had a proper diagnosis from Ryegate (When I received my first appointment letter) and was awarded it. Since then she's also been diagnosed with Autism as well.

Fantastic news, I'm debating as to whether l should apply for my son now or wait until he's diagnosed, already filled in my CONNORS form, just waiting for ADHD Nurse going into school, and then thd follow up appointment. How will CAB be able to help with the form, because l seriously struggle to write down what l need to say

Get the ball rolling, you can be getting reports from schools and Drs whille you are waiting. I sent in all the consultant letters, all Ryegate correspondance and a detailed letter from his teacher on how he struggles daily, and that seemed to help because it went through very quickly
