Agent Orange   11 #2 Posted February 10, 2014 What sort of walks do you prefer? Flat, hilly, paved or off the beaten track? A little more info would help so we don't throw stuff your way which would unsuitable.
 Share this content via...
LouiseSheff   10 #3 Posted February 10, 2014 Thank you. I want to see beautiful things like waterfalls and lakes. I'm not the fittest person in the world so prob not too steep a gradient! We went to Ladybower a few weeks ago (beautiful), did 4 hours of walking which was okay but my hip was hurting (prob because it was v cold!) LouiseSheff   10 #5 Posted February 10, 2014 Just googled 5 Weirs Walk - I've worked at 7 different places along the Wicker and Attercliffe, I hate that area ha ha!
 Share this content via...
megalithic   10 #6 Posted February 10, 2014 Well finding waterfalls on level ground might be a problem.  You could do Redmires>Stanedge Pole>Stanedge Edge. But you'd be back tracking to the start point. And there's no waterfalls.
 Share this content via...

megalithic   10 #8 Posted February 10, 2014 Thanks, okay then I need to man up to walk up hills to find waterfalls! Or take lots of rests!  I wouldn't worry, there's no waterfalls of note in our area anyway. The nearest "real" one being out at Foolow in Derbyshire.
