Power cut in S12

Recommended Posts

It's all nice and light now. I saw some men near Spar earlier in a National Grid van. I only went for Black Jacks but I gleaned a lot of information about future events.

What info did you find out?

The info I found was that Hackenthorpe Gala is on this Saturday. Obviously when I saw the vans I did wonder what was happening. When the power cut happened I didn't work it out at first but after I posted on here I got a lot of useful info. Second time in a year that's happened.

Bedders, the sub station near the old Bluebell pub. Renewed and the guys have made a mess of the job

What do you mean? Are they OK? What is happening up there now?

Jesus, god help you lot in a war situation, you would be screwed

Not true. I have some torches in the loft. If I knew we were going to war I'd fetch them down and put batteries in. I wouldn't want to get conscripted though. I'd help back home with the domestic duties (cooking, uniform ironing, spying etc)

Calm down!! The sub station was replaced in the last week. My friend worked on the deal. We all knew it would go borked because the blokes doing the work are kinda daft.
