is there only me that remembers your john.with pete roberts sunday dinner time and we was remeniscing about old times down alfred rd.plus going to hartly brook and some to hatfield house lane catching old trams up to sheffield lane top.

The Hollow, or t'holler as we called it was situated between Alfred Road, Paget Street, Castor Road and Stamford Street. At one end there was a high chain link fence, to stop footballs going into the back yards of the houses on Alfred Road. St Clements Church at the other end (Paget Street) was next to Newhall County Junior School.

hello donboy. remember holla well used to play nearly every sunday come rain or shine.sometimes about 15 a side.pat bean rowleys john colville bullivants colgraves earnest gilberthorpe and numerous others to many to mention .not only that but having a senior moment and cant remember a lot of them
