photodrew
hi guys I have a chinon cx slr cam i bought from ebay for a bit of 35mm fun for my hols! I have uplaoded the film correctly and set the relevant ISO/ASA for the film that is in (fujifilm C200 36exp) but when i look through the view finder looking outside in rather cloudy conditions I cant seem to get the correct exposure levels. the level has a + and - and the needle needs to sit between the two for "perfect" exposure. Now I have tried looking outside in rather reasonalbe light mid afternoon, bit cloudy. I would expect to be shooting at around 1/30 or 1/15 for dark conditions at 200 iso but it seems that this camera will only correct expose at ISO 1600 and 1/1 surely this is far too much and will just over expose the shot? help :S A
Firparnian
Possibly the battery for the meter needs changing, I had an old Yashica that used to give similar symptoms.
