joanne5600
does anyone have any ideas who we could take this dog to, basically hes a staffy and we all know that once in kennels hes probably met is fate (how sad) - hes a nice dog - there is no way the finder can keep him due to family and having other dogs
bogwoppit
Unless the dog is aggressive, it will be looked after until the owner turns up or a rescue place is found. I believe that Sheffield does NOT put dogs to sleep unless absolutely necessary. The pound is the best place for it as an owner may come forward. Strix
Take it to a vet to be scanned for a chip - you may find that it actually has an owner I'd really hate to think that somebody is spending the night fretting about their dog being stolen (no matter what the obvious assumptions might be)
