squeezy   10 #13 Posted July 19, 2011 According to a friend who works in Asda, its definately not shutting down, some of their staff are going to the new Asda and have recruited new staff to replace them, the GT is going to be an opticians and ladysave will be a chemist. However......some staff are getting fed up of being asked whether or not its closing and are replying 'yes, its being turned into flats'. doodledog   10 #14 Posted July 20, 2011 A lot of the staff that are leaving to go to Parson cross are doing so because they either live at that end of town or they can get the hours that they want to work.  They could be putting in Asda services, such as Opticians, Pharmacy, Cafe etc. into empty shops.
