Mostly asian with a significant number of white British families and newcomers from Europe - Slovakians, Hungarians, Poles. The motorway is very close by, but there is a good junior school, doctors, dentists a park with a nursery and community centre. Comprehensive school up the road at Brinsworth. Easy access to Rotherham by car or bus and to Sheffield likewise, plus the tram to Sheffield. Meadowhall is a short walk away. Good fishing in the canal.
