DaFoot
eek! On a non-laptop machine I'd be looking for the BIOS reset jumper on the motherboard or alternatively take the BIOS battery out for a while. Be worth checking if you laptop has similar feature. HotPhil
BIOS password is very different to operating system password. So an operating system reinstall won't help or be possible. Find the manual for your computer / motherbo!rd. It should deyail how to reset bios password - probably need to take case off and move a jumper/press a button. DaFoot
A few suggestions coming up from a search, seeminglt shorting a circuit to drain the battery seems popular. Big risk involved though. http://www.laptop-repair.info/toshiba_bios_password.html

kenthack
are you sure its a bios password? if you mean its asking for a password when it logs onto windows that would be a lot easier
