phailig   10 #109 Posted July 11, 2010 ps, "HE" isn't a "he". He's a SHE! (or at least I was the last time I looked!)  i apologise for the mistake
 Share this content via...
irenewilde   10 #110 Posted July 12, 2010 That would be fine but my daughters school don't allow this. They either have to have dinners for the full week or packed lunch. So it's not as if she can take packed lunch on the day they serve something she dislikes which I think is a little unfair.  Reading some of your messages I'm thinking we were really very lucky at my daughter's school with their level of flexibility towards school meals (& their provision for specialised diets). I just assumed all schools were the same but clearly they aren't.
 Share this content via...
M.Alllen   10 #111 Posted July 15, 2010 I started this thread . Yes i contacted his school . You are supposed to pre-order the said meal . This does not give certain people the right to insult my son of 11yr old on the forum (as the person did) . After defending him I WAS SUSPENDED FROM THE FORUM , this , i found absolutely unfair and unjust , as the person continued to provoke and find amusing . You know who you were , and i hope you are ashamed of yourself and your behaviour . I will continue to defend my boy !!
 Share this content via...

Bad language? They are just a few of the actions that can get a member a "forum holiday".) The mods don't just hit people with the ban-stick for the sake of it, or on a whim... As the mods act fairly quickly to clean up a thread that has descended into a breach of what's permissible, we won't necessarily have seen what was said. So we members can't say what posts contained such material.
 Share this content via...
Plain Talker   11 #113 Posted July 15, 2010 Further comment:-  As the moderators will tell you, if you have a problem with a "modding" decision, you need to open a help-desk ticket.
 Share this content via...

antinapple   10 #116 Posted July 16, 2010 I don't know how things operate in your son's school but at my child's school you have to pre-order vegetarian options a week in advance.
 Share this content via...
