External aerial for a 3G dongle ?

Recommended Posts

I have a cheap naff consumer grade Edimax router which has automatic 3G fail over if the main connection dies. It was under £40 & it's easy to set up. It'll let you share your 3G dongle with the rest of the office & it'll automatically switch to 3G when it needs to. However, once it's switched to 3G I don't think it'll automatically switch back to the main connection when that comes back online, at least it doesn't seem to for me. It lacks other features too & seems close to impossible to customise it with new firmware that would give me those features.

I haven't had any other big problems, but I still can't really recommend it for office/business use, you might be better off with the Draytek that Greengeek recommends.
