BT Hillsborough DAC

Is there anyone that used to work at BT Hillsborough in the late 1990’s ?

 

I worked there in 1998 on the 195 service, from memory you could wear anything you liked and there was a cattle gate to enter the building. Amazing how much offices have changed, back then people used to all smoke so every wall had a kind of yellow tint to it and the computers were built into the desk (no windows of course)

I worked there round about 95-97ish . I remember the smoke room well - yum

The good old smoke room, it was always the place to gossip with people LOL.

I've worked in there on a few occasions when I worked for BT, installing equipment. I can also remember attending one of those ridiculous "Involving Everyone" exercises there. However, the building was closed and sold off some years ago and is now,I believe, a flooring warehouse.

I was at Hillsborough from 1991, I loved working there but 'the smoke room' ugh never.
