Poshdoll   10 #1 Posted May 27, 2009 We have an old Vauxhall Viva SL, 1970 car available. Original clutch, number plate (H) etc., considering using Govt Scrap Scheme to dispose of it, but as it is in excellent condition, MOT'd and Tax'd, feel it would be a shame. 50,000 on clock (original mileage). Anyone give me any clues of a better ending for this classic car? If so, please PM me. Thank you,
 Share this content via...

sTaGeWaLkEr   10 #3 Posted May 27, 2009 It certainly would be a shame to scrap it!  Even if it doesn't bring a huge amount upon sale, at least it will go to someone who will help it to live longer.  I love seeing old cars on the road.  Try this site. Poshdoll   10 #4 Posted May 27, 2009 The Viva was the first car I had How much do you want for it?  Hi! No idea of it's worth, except to say that the Govt would give me £2k for it. Obviously I realise it is not worth that! If you are interested, make me an offer please? Thank you x
 Share this content via...
lottie_s   10 #5 Posted May 28, 2009 please don't scrap it, not worth scrapping a perfectly good car for the sake of getting in thousands of pounds of debt. put it on ebay or try http://www.retro-rides.org, full of enthusiasts
 Share this content via...
