flossyhardy Posted August 2, 2008 Share Posted August 2, 2008 I've just been on the phone to someone for ages and had a teeny weeny feeling at the beginning that it was a prank call....but I carried on and handled the call professionally (like you do) and then after about 8 minutes (I hope the call cost them a fortune!) I knew it was a prank call and they put the phone down! How frustrating! I wish I had been 100% confident in my mind and played along with them...but then I thought but what if it is real!??!? flossyhardy Posted August 2, 2008 Author Share Posted August 2, 2008 I work on the reception in a Solicitors and this older bloke rang up telling me some "scenario's" and was demanding to know how much compensation he'd get and when he'd get it...and it was all to do with a rash on his Grandma's inner thighs and telling me what caused it!!! I've told you the most I can without you being able to discover company names etc....There's more to it and it's complicated (trust me!) but the whole situation was so funny!
