deggs
Does anyone know what this development is like? Does anyone know what sort of prices they rent for. I am looking for a nice one bed or two bed apartment.
HotPhil
I notice this is your first post - are you moving to Sheffield or do you already know the area? Oh, and Welcome! You can walk round the back of the development and see the shared garden-y areas for a different view other than that from Ecclesall Road. I don't know what they're all like inside (other than the few we can peer into from our office!) but they seem to have a lot of car parking and be close to Uni(s) and town etc. Personally I wouldn't live in them as I don't like the area, but if you need to be in that location, then they're probably the newest buildings there just at the moment. Don't know of anyone renting any - best bet is the usual letting agents I guess.
pdrnsf
http://www.blundells.co.uk/rentalresult.asp?action=full These are all the rental properties on at Blundells, there are quite a few for where you want. Im not sure if you know, but they call it, "Coopers House" "The Brewery" "The Brew House" and "The Granary" these are all within the development. Hope this helps. nick2
Those flats are on one of the most heavily used roads in Sheffield, so don't expect to be sat on your balcony unless you want carbon monoxide poisoning.
kim4
I live on Wards Brewery (front facing Ecclesall Road). The apartments are very nice and well maintained. There is never any trouble because of the surrounding area, the apartments are very secure. It is ideal for access to town and Ecclesall Road, if you are young, free and single. I never use the balcony on the front because even in summer it doesn't get any sun! Bear that in mind. Also can be noisy from the road, but hasn't really bothered me. I pay £625 per month for a 2 bedroom with parking (which is on the cheap side), should be nearer £650 - £675 with a parking space.
