  1. not that we saw, otherwise we would have done within the first 2 minutes!
  2. it was dire, we were there from about 11.45 til 12.30 ish - i really wouldn't call it very busy at all.. and please remember everyone is allowed an opinion, we all thought it was terribly bad, so maybe others shouldn't listen to u? :loopy:
  3. I saw it.. I thought it was quite good.
  4. and im glad u lasted an hour, 40 minutes for our crowd.
  5. :gag: well plug has seriously gone down in my opinion after allowing fuel to host a night in its premises. last night was disgraceful. the atmosphere was poor, the music was really really poor, even by fuel's normal standards, i mean anya, what the hell is it? i wont be returning.
  6. no peter, you are not only making false claims about people, you are showing yourself to be completely ridiculous, as you do on maNy other websites ie. fitlads. its a sad day when, a gent in their 60s has to behave in such a manner. :loopy: grow the hell up.
  7. peter, dear, i hope you are not implying my friend was sacked from anywhere... im afraid, ever since he said NO to your advances... your attitude has become rotten. in future, may i ask that you act your age please?
  8. my good god. oh how the tables have turned. lets hope that fuel do the decent thing here, and move on out of sheffield. james behind the bar was the downfall of the place. he clearly eats enough, why oh why didnt he munch his way through the partition wall? whilst ever he is on board, fuel is guaranteed to be a sinking ship.
  9. id urge djscottk to consider taking legal action over your threats here..
  10. when you offer to provide a service, and publicise it on a public forum, you should be ready and willing to answer any questions relating to it. the market today is very competitive - £16 for a seat on a small coach is a high amount to pay, when - the train is cheaper. personally, im finding it difficult to interpret the facts of this situation.. 1. why are you discriminating on grounds of sexuality, over who is permitted to travel on your coach? when you are happy to make maximum use of a public forum to generate interest? 2. why are you not on this public forum under your real name? instead opting to call yourself after a street in manchester? WHEN you are expecting people to take you seriously, and put their trust in you? 3. why couldnt you respond to djscottk in a decent and less hostile manner when he clearly explained he wasnt being bitchy, and asked you how many seats were available on your vehicle? 4. why instead did you respond in a confrontational manner, not only with a bitchy, irrelevant comment about climax, but with a personal insult to djscottk? to summarise - personally, i wouldnt go near you with a bargepole. from your postings on here you do not come across as a likeable individual, whom i would trust with £16 of my hard earned money, nor with arranging my safe passage to and from manchester.
  11. Hirsty was never allowed to be his natural self at Hallam FM.. He was forced to play '4 in a row' after '4 in a row' - and he hated it... Hirsty Daryl and Emma Scott all left because they were becoming nationally recognised radio talents, and Hallam management would not nominate any of them for Sony Awards, or offer to do anything to further their Careers...
  12. Good luck to Sheffield live... John Harrison does a great job in the mornings - how anyone can still sound fresh after 7 years on the same shift is beyond me.. I dont think John will wait around too long on Hallam now, and the thought that some plant like Ollie Hayes could replace him, will be the final nail in Hallam's Coffin. Here's hoping the studios on Herries Rd are still swimming in Flood waters this morning ! Oh and yeh, Key 103 is a decent station... Anthony Gay was programming director there after he left Hallam FM - Hallam used to sound exactly like Key 103, like I said before Gary Stein isnt far behind Ant in his abilities, and he is now looking after Key 103 - poor Hallam has been left with Simon Monk in control of the programming, so I doubt very much we can expect anything exciting over the forthcoming months! I think EMAP should seriously rethink about what they are doing to Hallam FM, and surrender their licence to the Radio Authority with immediate effect and save themselves and the people of Sheffield/ South Yorkshire any further embarrassment.
  13. anyone else think the station has gone seriously down the pan over the last few months? why oh why has matt mackay been replaced by a smug sounding, patronising idiot like ollie hayes? gary stein was a decent programming director, and kept hallam fairly ok to listen to after anthony gay left, but simon monk who has replaced him - this man is a loon. these are my personal views, anyone else share them? i feel its time to seriously challenge hallam's continued existence, its ridiculous.
