  1. I did this in a bathroom using satinwood over a tile primer, both coats applied with a gloss roller which gives an attractive finish. It did look a bit scruffy after a couple of years, however it was a very quick job to put on a other coat of paint. I would say go for it. You've got nothing to lose apart from a small amount of time and money. It will buy you time while you decide on a more permanent solution. Make sure the tiles are clean before putting on the primer. You could use scouring powder or sandpaper for this.
  2. I was only talking about this the other day. I used to go there regularly
  3. Thanks for letting us know. That sounds like a lot of fun.
  4. Lamberts Aerials 07762 105255. Sean Lambert has done a number of jobs for me on my rental properties and I've always been very satisfied with his service. I've used a number of aerial installers in the past and many of them damaged the roof coverings by standing on the slates. Something to watch out for. Good Luck Stephen
  5. I'm about to put a house with Lewis Wadsworth so I was a little surprised to hear you didn't rate them. Could you give us a few examples of their shortcomings. If you're worried about libel, I wonder if you could pm me. I've used Fairways for years and consider them honest and diligent but this one's off their patch. I wonder if one of the main problems with rental agents is that we don't actually pay them very much. I mean on a £350 rent they are typically making £35 a month. What would you do for £35 a month? Regards, Stephen
