Hi, We are desperately looking for an outfit for my mother. We have walked miles in Meadowhall going from one shop to another and haven't found a thing. Can anyone suggest any independant shops in Sheffield that aren't in Meadowhall or the town centre. Finding my dress was easier than this!

Hi all, I too had a fab time on Wed night and thanks to Jill for hosting the event and helping me knit a cord for my baby PJ bag (will put some piccies up when I find my USB lead for my camera). A quick query: my friend has me to source a knitting plan for the Jayne Cobb Firefly hat - yes I know I'm a librarian and should be able to find this but I am struggling - any ideas for sites I could try? You can also get them done at Boots but costs a fortune and takes about 12 days. Harrisons on London road only take about a week!

Hey - I would be really interested to hear people's experiences of cat sitters. I put my cat in a cattery for the 1st time in the summer and sobbed my heart out - I found it really difficult. My cat also didn't take to it too well either - not sure if that is due to the fact that she is a rescue cat? Anyway was thinking of using a cat sitter next time...
