Hi, I'm a student in this year's Fine Art show. The students have collaboratively curated the exhibition this year and we've had very little assistance from the administrative staff of the university, who appear to be a lot more concerned with the promotion of the institution than the interests of its students. The OFFICIAL exhibition website that we have created is the-end-show.org although you won't find any reference to this in any Hallam publications, following this perhaps concern should be turned to the motives behind the move to the city. This week (Wed 31 May and Sat 3 June) we (the students) have organised two symposium days with some of the country's prominent artists, curators and cultural critics coming to speak around the themes of Institutions and Collaborative Curating ENTRY IS FREE, more information can be found on the-end-show.org (you will have to copy and paste it in to your browser as new members can't post URLs)
