On July 9, Sheffield City Centre will become your playground. Get your blood pumping with a 2km dash, followed by a heart-racing 1km bike sprint. Then it’s time to tackle a 12-floor stair climb to reach your final challenge: an adrenaline-fuelled 120ft abseil to the streets below.

You don’t have to be an athlete to get involved. Urban Challenge is a one-of-a-kind competition that anyone with a reasonable fitness level – and a bit of nerve – can complete. It’s all to raise money for Cavendish Cancer Care, in aid of supporting local people affected by cancer.
