  4. First of all Happy New Year to everyone Due to popular demand, we have a new date for the Canine First Aid at our training centre in Sheffield! 
Who should attend?
 This course will be of interest to owners, groomers, sitters, walkers and anyone working with dogs. This course is open to anyone over 14 years old although under 16s will need to be accompanied by an adult (family member, guardian or written family consent). What you will learn
 The course focuses on how to deal with a range of First Aid incidents and care involving dogs, with the aim to provide delegates with a sound knowledge and understanding of Canine First Aid procedures.

The course is normally held at Bridge Safety and Training premises although, if required we can deliver the course at the client’s premises specifically for their employees. Certification
 Upon completion of the course, delegates will be awarded a certificate of attendance. Support

Next Course Tuesday 8th July 2014 AM Session Under Regulation 10 “Information, instruction and training” of the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012, every employer must provide adequate training (which includes information and instruction) to employees who are, or may be, exposed to asbestos at work. 
Who should attend?
 The UKATA Asbestos Awareness course is suitable for anyone engaged in construction, maintenance, refurbishment, renovation and demolition of property or for anyone who may come into contact with asbestos. It satisfies the current legislation that surrounds asbestos in the work place. What you will learn
 This course will give you all the necessary information about asbestos and detailed instruction on what to do when asbestos is found in the workplace. 

Course content Types and properties of asbestos Health effects of exposure to asbestos Uses, identification and location of asbestos Asbestos containing material and products Legislation and Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 Risk Assessment What work could cause asbestos exposure and the importance of preventing exposure How work can be done safely and what equipment is needed Emergency procedures Decontamination Course Duration
 The course is usually held over half a day totalling 4hrs including coffee breaks. The course is either held on client’s premises, and delivered specifically for their employees or, delivered at Bridge Safety and Training premises. Assessment and certification
 Assessment is a 15 question multiple choice assessment paper. Upon successful completion, delegates receive UKATA Asbestos Awareness certification. Support
