its really bad when this happens but you really have to be patient and let it all heal or you will be in this position next year. its hard but you have to be strong and live through it. Time spent now is well spent getting better.

if you are letting house I don't think the condition of the next door property will matter to much. tenants want a nice clean house with up to date kitchen and bathroom and a good landlord who acts on any problems immediately
