  1. Wow, does this still happen? I thought it died out in the nineties. I miss those days..
  2. Hi guys, totally forgot to update this thread but I found what I was looking for in the end. I bought some online after much head scratching. The "Dispotex" branded ones are about 3 times as thick as the rubbish I found in the supermarket, I could probably have reused them if it wasn't for all the spillages! I bought them here: http://innsupplies.com/disposable/paper-table-cloths . I hope this helps somebody else out too!
  3. The tablecloth is the bin! Ingenious thinking I might try and look for something that's actually designed to be a tablecloth though so as not to upset the guests! I'm waiting for the snow to start falling actually, i've been watching the weather warnings for November but nothing has turned up as of yet. I actually picked some up from ASDA in the hope they'd be suitable but it was more like tracing paper in all honesty. Think i might take my chances and order some of the more expensive ones online / on Ebay.
  4. Well i guess they would be waterproof at least! Probably not too visually appealing though. I certainly wouldn't want people to notice what they were
  5. I've done a bit of research and found LOADS on ebay, unfortunately Ebay is best known for peddling rubbish. I found lots of places selling the "Dispotex" which look (in the pictures anyway) quite good. Anyone ever used this one? I don't want to end up with more easily torn tracing paper
  6. Thanks, i've tried Macro but they were pretty ropey! What is JTF?
  7. Sorry for the thread resurrection but i just came across this. I need some Black tablecovers in the next couple of weeks but don't want the usual supermarket rubbish. Which ones were purchased in the end and were they strong / didn't tear easily?
