  1. Win baby photoshoot with Gracewong Photography. To enter the prize draw, 'like' her Facebook page through http://www.gracewong.co.uk and send her a message quote 'win a baby photoshoot' with your postcode and baby's age. Good luck!
  2. Very interesting! I've just heard from a friend that she has gone for a photographer that charge £500 for her wedding but he didn't turn up for the pre-wedding/ engagement photoshoot, not a good start... I do believe in what you pay is what you get!
  3. Lovely photos, I love the colours of autumn! I was there few days ago trying to take photos of the squirrels but all came out blurred!
  4. sorry to hear that Chocomoo but we all learn from experience
  5. eye-fi card? never heard of it but just look it up on google, very interesting!
  6. Thanks jb, totally agree with you! We had our wedding in Scotland and I thought it would be better to find someone local. I book a photographer who I like the photos on his website and chat through the phone. Nice guy and good photos but I think the price is quite high, We paid £1600 for DVDs only, without pre wedding and reception coverage...
  7. Thanks for the link quisquose, it's very helpful! I've just bought a 32GB SD card but now thinking to get myself a CF!
  8. Hi, I'm new to the forum and so excited to see so much information here I got married recently and paid quite a lot on our wedding photography. Just wonder how much do you pay, or willing to pay your photographer? Thanks.
  9. Thanks Tom. I was wondering if CF card is any better, tougher, more secure or faster speed? but seems like SD card is just as good and compatible to many cameras.
  10. Hi, I've just bought a new Canon camera with 2 card slots, CF card and SD card. I did a quick google search on the cards and found that CF cards are generally more expensive. Does anyone know why?
