I've just started a new job and am currently being trained on Air Source Heat pumps as an alternative to oil or gas. One of the criteria is that any potential customer must spend a minimum of £1200 pa on oil or gas for their heating. Do many people actually spend that much money or is it rather rare to consume that amount? For instance, I only spend £45pcm, roughly £540 pa which seems normal for a modern 3 bed detached. Thanks for your help. I'm enjoying the new job so far.

I think it would be far fairer and less corporate to have everyone that wants tickets to register for a lottery draw.

Arctic Monkeys Have they forgotten their roots? Have they gone from an exciting local band giving away free downloads to greedy corporate tarts? Arena tours? Engaged tone at Arena phone lines? Ticketmaster? Constantly refreshing ticket web pages for an hour? Upsetting the fans not lucky enough to buy £38.50 + booking fee tickets? Tickets now being touted on ebay? Are the Arctic Monkeys just another greedy corporate sell out band now? I think so!

I now use wine works in Chesterfield. Very helpful staff with real knowledge from experience. Brilliant lady that runs it and even the Saturday girl knew her stuff! 10/10. I will NEVER have use brewmart in Sheffield ever again.

Sloes are enormous this year. Don't buy them. Pick your own for free in local hedgerows. They're ready now but best to wait until after the first frost!

Avoid The Brewmart on abbey lane. I recently purchased a fruit press for cider making which broke first time I used it. Totally ignorant, rude and abusive nasty woman went mental when I tried to return it. I was going to purchase a far sturdier model for 3 times original cost of model that broke but the utter lack of customer care was shockingly medieval! Wouldn't waste my pee on the place if it was on fire. However, the man that served me on my first visit was very friendly n helpful. Little knowledge of cider making though.

Do you know anyone that's had their loan or credit card debts legally written off? Seen a few companies advertising that a loophole in UK law allows many of our debts to be written off if the loans/cards were taken out before April 2007. They claim that many of our loan/credit card agreements have numerous wording and other problems that make them null and void. Sounds like a scam to me. Have any of you used this sucessfully? Know of anyone that has? They charge a fee for the service! mmmmmmm?

I drive an x reg peugot 306 hdi. Been around the web but cant find a decent website that can give me a definate answer as to whether it needs converting. Some say convert, others say mix with regular fuel. I do 600 miles per week and need to save cash. I cant afford to knacker my car engine either.

Can any one recommend a local garage or mechanic that can supply and fit equipment that allows my diesel car to allow it to run on veg oil? Have you tried it? Any good?

If you run a business, I'm sure you are approached by every Tom, Dick or Harry selling you advertising. Local papers? Yellow pages/Thomsons local? Tesco cards? TV Screens in post offices etc? What have you tried? Did you make a profit on it? How much did it cost you per week or month etc? Thanks for your help.
