  3. Think dan has covered most things except if you are still having problems call 07875633464 Thank you Scott
  4. I agree with xmoonshinex. But there will also be elderly and disabled what will need your service as they wont be well off, so I think you have had a great idea. Its just finding the correct contacts to point you in the direction of genuine customers. Also dont let nursing holmes con you into doing things for free because they have more money than the residents in there. Good luck with this, it sounds realy nice of you but dont be conned yourself Thank you Scott
  5. Hi give me a call on the number below and if your avalible I can fit you in before my afternoon job ( 1pm ) or just give you advice over the phone Thank you Scott
  6. Is this to be fitted in a boiler or externally? what size connections? copper or BSP thread? Thanks Scott
  7. I was asking what boilers other plumbers use not what boilers customers had problems with
  8. Just a quick question to all plumbers out there to see what boiler brand everyone is using. I personally use Ideal logic + as ( touch wood ) ive never had a problem with them, they have a great HW flow rate ideal for customers with mixer showers and the 5 yr garantee is a good selling point to the customer. I also fit other boilers but this is the one I prefer to fit in a domestic house. The boiler I preffer to fit in commercial is also Ideal but if your only after a water heater Lochinvar are very good. They look like they belong in a caravan due to there size but I couldn't belive how quick they got the HW to 65c in a hospital ward. So what boiler do you fit? commercial or domestic? Why? This also might give people a clue of what to have when choosing a boiler for there house Thank you Scott
  9. As a tradesman you will be looking at a hourly rate of about £13 as a fully qualified plumber or electrician. But if you also have gas safe you could get a little more. Then from that it all depends on the hours you work a week or if there is any over time at an increased hourly rate. And if there is any travel pay. If your self employed tradesmen it’s really up to you what you earn as your having to do everything yourself. Working for a company you could also get a work van and mobile phone so you have to weigh up the pros and cons. So there is no simple answer to the question. Hope this helps you Scott
