  1. Hello everyone. I am new to your forum. I live in Dallas, TX. I spent a week in Sheffield as a young boy and really loved and I have very fond memories. We were there at the invitation of the Blue Harmony Boys in the early 1060s. they were very close friends with us. I am planning a trip to Europe next year with a few days in the U.K. What is a good hotel to stay at in Sheffield? Thanks, Jim
  2. Would love to hear who still is alive from the Blue harmony boys. They were good friends of my family in the early 1960s in Germany, They played at my dad's club in Sembach at the U.S. Air Force Base. I have pictures of them which I can share with anyone interested. We visited them in early sixties in Sheffield - great memories.
  3. The page where the Blue Harmony Boys are mentioned is page 23 of this forum.
  4. Does anyone know where any of the Blue Harmony Boys live today? They were close friends of my family when my father was stationed in Sembach, Germany between 1959-1960. I have pictures of them and remember them fondly. What a great group of guys. Wow what memories.
  5. I am so glad to come across the forum. Greetings from Dallas, Texas. My family knew the Blue Harmony Boys very well. They played at my fathers NCO club in Sembach, Germany between 1959 and 1963. They were booked in by an agent named Giesela Gunther, another family friend. I have wonderful memories of them. We traveled to Garmish with them in the winter one year. They spent many hours with us. We visited them in Sheffield when I was about 9 years old (1960 or 1961) and stayed with a local family there. I will never forget it. We have number of pictures of them if anyone is interested just email me and I will provide them. The drummer was much older than the others and his name was Jock. Where are they today?
