I can remember writing my name in the frost on the inside of the windows at my nans house. She had a huge house and one coal fire to heat the lot brrrr thank god for central heating.

Think blue peter were doing it at one bit for charity, my mum has still been saving them so anyone know any charities that are still collecting them and any addresses to post them to if possible thanks

I live next door to a vets we have a communal garden and its disgusting. One woman yesterday took her dog to the vet and let it poo on my garden she wasnt very impressed when i moved it to infront of her car door and she stepped in it. Dont think she will be leaving on other peoples gardens in a hurry!!

Indeed. I wonder if Bizzy_Lizzy is a hygiene freak, perchance?Â
Yes like most people hygiene is important to me especially when it comes to children you wouldn't let your children play in the toilet water whether its been bleached or not.
Â
I never said that i didn't like the look of the fountain personally i do but i said it was a waste of money take the beggers off the street and give them a home the city would look far better the fountain only disguises the problems not sorts them.

My son had a dummy but only till 9 months old through his own choice. He only liked the ones that had been sucked so much they went fat and sticky and picked up every piece of fluff :gag:once he lost the last fat sticky one we owned he never bothered with another, he was restless and upset for a few days but soon got over it. A child will give up their dummy on their own accord when they feel ready some sooner than others sometimes it takes them till they go to school and realise the other children don't have them.

Yesterday I had some solar powered lights delivered

Whilst the thought of someone peeing in it is pretty disgusting, what's the problem with kids playing (in a civilised manner) in the water?Â
As long as they're not using it as a toilet, what's the problem - either at the station or the Peace Gardens?
Â
Â
My point is people will pee in it and people will allow their children to play in it how revolting
-
people will let their children play in it like the fountains in the peace gardens

Well i had one impatient idiot tut and push past me on the bus yesterday as i was trying to get not only my pram and 2 year old son off safely but also my disabled brother and his wheelchair off. Some people are just damn right rude maybe if he stopped and offered to help he could have got off a lot quicker.
-
yeah im off to see them tonight i cant wait. Theres 11 of us going it's my first time going to see them but the others have been for the past 4 consecutive years they say it's fantastic Yippee im excited!
-
Can anybody else see the point in this, what a waste of tax payers money. I can only imagine how much it cost to build let alone the bills they get every year keeping it running:loopy:. There are people living on the streets with no roof or heating yet they can find the money to build such a pointless water feature. I would like to think the tax i pay is going on something more useful.

I send my deepest sympathy out to this young girls family and friends
http://www.looklocal.org.uk/news.php?id=1168
Â
The idiot that caused the death of this young woman was seen going into the pub a few hours before the acciedent.
dont you think its a bit irionic that his brother had been awarded £1.2 million less than a few months ago for being starved of oxygen at birth leaving him severely disabled then he manages to buy himself a subaru even though he has no job. Seems to me hat he's been spending the money his brother was awarded causing the death of an innocent teen.

I went to school with "Kirsty" she was a lovely girl kept herself to herself and certainly didn't deserve her life to be taken away from her so soon my heart goes out to anyone that was close to her.

What a lovely thread. Nice to know our loved ones will be taken care of if they unfortunately end up there.
